Mirepoix Cathedral Christmas Carol Service 2006

Mirepoix Cathedral Christmas Carols

Sunday Dec 17, 2006 at 17.00

Last year a friend and I went to the Christmas Carol service in Mirepoix and it was lovely.  Music in a mediaeval cathedral and the opportunity to sing your favourite carols – it’s a very pleasant way to send a Sunday in December.  Bruce Taylor sent an e-mail with the following details.  Worth marking in your calendar.

The Christmas Carol Service will take place on Sunday 17th December at 17h in Mirepoix Cathedral.

The Service and Carols will be in Both French and English, it is hoped that all nationalities and faiths will attend. The Bishop is hopping that the service will bring together the whole community and be even better than last year (standing room only last year).

Mulled wine and Mince Pies will be served in the Salle Saint Gauderic after the service so that everyone can get together and talk.

If you would like to attend choir rehearsals on the 1st and 8th December or would like to contribute to the Mulled wine and Mince Pies please email Roger.maguire at wanafoo.fr – replace at with @, you know how it works!
