Adventures in Blogging

Here one minute, gone the next

I host and maintain the back-end (the stuff behind the scenes) of reed writes, a blog by Canadian journalist Jim Reed.

Yesterday I sent it soaring off into the ether.  You’d think after all these years I’d know better than to try and do anything more complicated than check e-mail when I’m sick.  But no.  I’m in the process of starting another blog and after I had added it to my account I noticed that I had mis-spelled the title.  See what I mean about nothing more complicated than checking e-mail?

I hit the delete key

When I hit the delete key to remove it the key greyed but nothing happened so I hit it again.  We can all guess what happened, can’t we?  I deleted Jim’s blog.  The whole thing.  It was gone, all gone.

It has to be remade, it can’t be recovered.  AAARRRGGGHHH!!!

All this to say that I will be posting again, hopefully very soon, but first I have to get Jim back online.  Bear with me folks.

About Sam

Sam started Aude France as a companion site to her real estate site Aude France Property so that she could have a place to write about life in the Aude. Now that she's in Canada she writes about things that can affect owners and buyers in the Aude - or anything that strikes her fancy. On Pinterest you can find her by searching for Sam Mooney or clicking this link

You are without a doubt, the most wonderful blog mistress a benighted blog could ever hope to have.

I just want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for: a) deleting my blog and teaching me the eternal truth about the ephemerality of the internet and,
b)reaffirming to me that there is decency and goodness in the heart of every human being.
    goddess bless you!
