audexchange
Sort of like Freecycle™ in the Aude - but different
Keith Redfern has set up a Google group called audexchange for those of us in the Aude. It's a simple concept. Join the group and then list anything you don't need, or post about something you do need. In most cases things are free, you just have to arrange to pick them up.
For larger items it's possible to exchange or barter.
Great for Aude renovations or for furnishing your vacation home
If you're faced with the prospect of furnishing your new vacation home in the Aude it's worth checking to see what's available at audexchange. Right now there's a computer desk if anyone needs one.
Soon there may be some windows and doors. Depends on how soon I get organized enough to finish sorting out the atelier.
If you've just bought a house in the Aude and it's full of stuff you don't want, list it. One person's trash is another person's treasure and you may save yourself a trip to the dechetterie.

Greetings to Aude from Los Altos! I live in Silicon Valley, between Google, and Stanford U. not more than 45 minutes to San Francisco, 20 minutes to San Jose. We're looking for a house exchange from July 24 for 2 to 4 weeks, do you know anyone who's interested in a visit to northern California this summer?

I have an old desktop computer in good working order- including screen, keyboard, mouse, all cables , Windows, Lotus, and lots of other programs,
If anyone wants to collect it from TAURIZE, it's yours.
