Back in France

Olonzac - I like these doors

It feels wonderful to  be back in France.  It was a sudden decision – an opportunity I couldn’t  resist. I arrived on Tuesday and my luggage arrived on Wednesday after spending some extra time in Munich.

I’m staying in Olonzac and spending too much time at the cafe – it has wifi.  Tonight there’s a jazz trio so I’ll be here again.

Carcassonne - Place Carnot

Nothing seems to have changed too much, some different shops in Carcassonne but still people sitting in the Place Carnot having lunch or a quick coffee.

Vines in the Corbieres

Vines in the Corbieres

The weather is gorgeous and the vines seem to be flourishing.  I noticed in the Corbieres that people are growing wheat in some of the fields where they pulled out vines a few years ago. And that others have planted new vines.

It’s time to go back to the apartment and check my vide-grenier purchases! I got some sweet baby clothes for my expected grandson. If I get organized I’ll take pictures of the other loot and post them here.
